Honu's & La'ie Point (07/19/09) : Aloha, We stopped at Laniakea to show Caleb the big Honu. Wooly-Bully was relaxing on the beach and Dale got some beautiful pictures of the amazing animal. Made a stop at Three Tables for a quick dip and snorkel. Then drove around to La'ie Point to show Caleb the beauty of the Windward coast. DaBoyZ

Nene & other exotic birds (03/27/09) : Aloha, As you can see from all the pictures, Dale & Kim had a wonderful time at the zoo and spent nearly 4 hours strolling along and photographing all the beautiful wildlife. Here is Hawai'i's state bird, the Nene. While checking out the Nene, a cute little Java Sparrow was found just sitting on the walkway watching them. Dale and Kim both dropped down and practically laid down on the walkway trying to get all these shots of the curious little Java Sparrow. DaBoyZ

Tigers & Keiki Zoo (03/27/09) : Aloha, Dale and Kim arrived at the zoo early enough to see the baby tigers. They've grown quite a bit so they don't look like babies until you compare them to momma, who is still bigger than them. The tigers were running around and playing. One was biting the tail of the other. Another was stalking a bird and almost caught it. Next up was the Keiki Zoo which was full of all kinds of animals to touch and have fun with. It was full of koi, chickens, llamas, goats, sheep, and miniature ponies. Before moving onto the next area they made one more stop by the tiger area. DaBoyZ

Elephants & other Mammals (03/27/09) : Aloha, Went by the elephant's area to see Mari and Vaigai. Dale and Kim went to the the Gibbons and Lemur's next. They came across the black Gibbon who was showing off. He kept swinging around really fast for a bit and then would stop and everyone would applaud for him. He would start up again and then wait for the applause. What a character!! DaBoyZ

Plenty of Honu (06/08/08) : Aloha, Jas, David, & I all headed to the North Shore to watch the polo game. But once we got off the bus in Waialua and started to follow the beach the 3 miles to the playing field, we noticed just off in knee-deep water their was about 15-20 Honu (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle) eating in the shallows. It was really cute to watch them ebb and flow with the waves and then you would see their heads pop up for air and then they would dive back down and eat. While they were eating sometimes their butts would float up and pop out on the surface. It was really amazing to watch them. So needless to say we were so awe-struck by nature's beauty we never made it to the polo game. DaBoyZ

Playing at Pupukea (3/23/2008) : Aloha, Meet up with our friend Sharon and cousin Jasmine to go to the North Shore.
