Shangri La (04/04/09) : Aloha, Last year for Administrative Professionals Day the faculty and staff in the American Sign Language Program and Gallaudet University Regional Center all pitched in and bought Dale 2 tickets to Shangri-La (Doris Duke's home). Well when Kim came she decided she wanted to go and so all 3 of us went together. What a beautiful home, full of all kinds of amazing Islamic artwork. Part of the home was closed off but the part you were able to see was just amazing. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take pictures in the house but we made sure to take some outside so you could at least get some sense of what it looked like. DaBoyZ
