Aloha,

We started the morning with some window shopping, and stopped for some tea in the Northwest District. Then we went over to Old Wives Tales for breakfast followed by some shopping for snacks at Peoples Coop, in the Southeast District.

DaBoyZ05 > Northwest District or Nob Hill area of Portland is sometimes now refered to as the Alphabet District.

DaBoyZ05 > David lived in this neighborhood for a short while towards the end of the 90's.

DaBoyZ05 > It has usually been know simply as Northwest, and apt, as this part-upscale, part-bohemian enclave could very well be the epicenter of Pacific Northwest panache.

DaBoyZ05 > It's also the perfect base for shopping, dining, and exploring Portland's best attractions.

DaBoyZ05 > Craftsman- and Old Portland-style houses are packed tightly together with grand old apartment buildings and sleek new condominiums, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and shops.

DaBoyZ05 > The Portland Streetcar terminates here, connecting the district to the Pearl District and Downtown Portland.

DaBoyZ05 > This was one of the trendy stops to see, especially if you are a tea lover, it's know as Tea Chai Te

DaBoyZ05 > The district stretches west to east from the base of the West Hills to I-405, and north to south from NW Nicolai St. and the Willamette River to W Burnside St.
