DaBoyZ went back into Makiki Valley and jumped onto the Maunalaha Trail for a steep climb to the 4-way intersection. Once there we followed the Makiki Valley Trail further up the mountain and all the way to the end at Roundtop Drive. From there we saw another trailhead across the road which turned out to be a section of 'Ualaka'a Trail that we had never been on. We hiked that until we looped back around the the 4-way intersection and then continued on Makiki Valley trail towards Tantalus Road. Once we arrived at the intersection of Kanealole Trail we veered down the mountain into the Makiki Recreation Area.
