DaBoyZ made a stop at the new Honolulu Farmers' Market at the Neil Blasidell Center. Our friend Mary was there and she was sharing information about Vetiver.

DaBoyZ05 > Vetiver can grow up to 1.5 meters high and form clumps as wide.

DaBoyZ05 > The stems are tall and the leaves are long, thin, and rather rigid; the flowers are brownish purple.

DaBoyZ05 > Unlike most grasses, which form horizontally spreading mat-like root systems, vetiver's roots grow downward, 24 meters in depth.
